Summary of Position:IT Systems Software Analysis & Programming focuses on programming & configuration of IT Systems Software (i.e. software for use in operating/controlling hardware and providing a platform for running internal end user/business applications). The work includes: \xe2\x80\xa2Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System \xe2\x80\xa2Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts \xe2\x80\xa2Writing code in lower-level programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization\xe2\x80\x99s IT platform/infrastructure \xe2\x80\xa2Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software (e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2Writing diagnostic programs to test integrated software/hardware systems and resolve system faults \xe2\x80\xa2Creating functional and technical documentation of systems software programs and codeKey Responsibilities:

• Managing team
• SCRUM process
• Ticketing in JIRA
• Admin work in JIRA
• Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and the development team to define and prioritize project requirements, goals, and scope.
• Manage and adapt the project roadmap, ensuring that the project is delivered on time.
• Collaborates with the Global Product Director, Global Product Experience Manager, and other Product Owners to shape end-to-end product strategy and business value of their feature set
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and act as business/technical SME
• Utilize market and industry knowledge to coordinate translation of user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA, 2-3 sprints ahead
• Collaborates with Product Director and designers to integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to ensure customer-driven design
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Supply Chain, SAP, Customer Master/ Salesforce & Digital Health Suite/Smart Cataract)
• Reviews and approves test cases and test runs prepared by Test Leads
• Coordinates early estimation of Epics and Stories
• Serves as the day-to-day contact for the engineering team on clarification of requirements
• Supports the Global Product Director in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with the overall product vision
• Approves JIRA ticket demos from engineering
• Preps and gives demos to business along with Global Product Director
• Works closely with the Global Product Director on priorities and day to day decision-making.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous Product Owner experience (about 3 years)
• A software development background
• Be comfortable working with cross functional teams (different time zones/ work across global)
• A deep understanding and experience with Agile Methodologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Stakeholder management experience
• Great communication skills, and speak and write English fluently
• Experience within Jira
• Any SCRUM or equivalent certificate for Product Owner or other
• Medical background/ pharma and the life sciences
• Independent
• Flexible (working hours-different time zones)
