Purpose:
This role will be the global administrative gate keeper that ensures that all regional PLM (Product Line Management) and NPIP (New Product Introduction Process) processes remain aligned. This role will be reporting to the Director: R&D Processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Review all new product setup request from regions and ensure correct signoff and approval
• Communicate with regional PLM leads to ensure the correct information is in place
• Setup new product using the NPIP process and tool promptly and per pre-agreed due time
• Get cross-trained on the management and process of the Buckman product portal (PIMS)
• Understand how to set products inside the portal
• Understand how to run report from the portal
• Provide data reports by region as specified by PLM management/VP RD.
• Distribute reports to regions, using data reports to analyze trends and anomalies.
• Provide feedback to management on how to further improve the process
• Completion of a BAAR with all key stakeholders annually and propose action plans for next years.
• completion of all required Buckman training modules.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (BS) from four-year college or university in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Paper Science etc.
• Be skilled at using Excel and presenting data.
• Ability to plot data and analyze for trends.
Required skills:
• Excellent MS Office skills, ability to conduct data analysis and draw data-driven conclusions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong documentation, and report writing skills.
• Strong Mathematical skills - ability to use probability and statistical inference,
• Good at Reasoning - be able to identify and then define a problem and then use data to draw conclusions.
• Be a good problem solver who comes up with practical solutions.

• Very structured and have strong organizational skills, self-management, and ability to work well in global cross-functional teams.
