Job Title: Product Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 US Field ReportingCareer Level - EIntroduction to Role:Are you ready to leverage technology to impact patients and ultimately save lives? We are seeking a Product Engineer for US Field Reporting, responsible for leading the design, development, testing, deployment, and operations for data products and solutions supporting our US Field operations team. This role will provide technical leadership to the data engineering team, interact with IT business partners to align with business strategy and translate the business needs into technical solutions.Accountabilities:As a Product Engineer, you will lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and operations for data products and solutions supporting our US Field Operations team. You will maintain a deep working knowledge of US Field reporting data products, their data lineage, business rules, KPIs, Usage, and operations. You will collaborate with Global Capability, Business Engagement, Delivery, and Platform teams to drive the best customer experience and outcomes when delivering data products. You will ensure data products adhere to best practices and AZ architecture standards and strategy.Essential Skills/Experience:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldPrior experience in an Information Services/Information Technology environment with good business acumen3-5 years of experience with building AWS or Azure cloud-based data pipelines3-5 years of dynamically responsible experience with Python and SparkMinimum 7 years of dynamically responsible experience with ETL, building sophisticated data models/pipelines/productsExpertise in Continuous Integration and Deployment methods delivered as part of an agile teamAbility to interpret and communicate technical information in business-friendly languageA broad understanding of cloud architectureStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work within both Agile and Waterfall development methodologiesProven experience of handling and coaching/mentoring junior engineersProven experience of developing and managing relationships with 3rd party suppliersStrong written and verbal communications skillsExperience working in a global organization with a complex geographical structureDesirable Skills/Experience:Experience working in Databricks / Snowflake platformExperience working in pharmaceutical field sales Reporting domainPrior experience working in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry IT environmentExperience with IQVIA Claims, National and subnational sales dataExperience working within a DevOps delivery modelExperience of working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures, and guidelinesWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we fuel ambitious thinking with the power to encourage life-changing medicines.
