Specializing in the electrical insulation sector, the company proudly introduces the cutting-edge SIMOTEC brand of Composite Hollow Core Insulator technology to India covering design, manufacturing, and sales. With the integrated world-class factory in Hyderabad, the JV will cater to the rapidly increasing demand for Composite Hollow Core Insulators in both the Indian and international markets. Location: Hyderabad, India Role Overview: As a Product Engineer, you will drive the engineering aspects of our Composite Hollow Core Insulators, collaborating with customers to define their design. Your primary responsibility involves close collaboration with external customers and internal project teams, translating requirements from concept to the manufacturing stage. This pivotal role requires a mechanical engineering background, while exposure to composite materials is advantageous. Responsibilities: Customer Collaboration: Engage extensively with customers to comprehend their technical requirements and align insulator designs with manufacturing capabilities. Design Expertise: Utilize proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, etc., to contribute innovative design solutions. Technical Liaison: Act as the key technical liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication for successful project outcomes. Problem Solving: Address technical challenges during product development, employing analytical skills to troubleshoot and implement effective solutions. Project Leadership: Lead the engineering team in the comprehensive development of Hollow Core Composite Insulators, adhering to stringent timelines and quality standards. Manufacturing Transition: Collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to streamline designs into efficient production processes. Documentation and Compliance: Develop detailed technical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and rigorous quality control measures. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in mechanical/electrical/ Electronics engineering. 8 to 15 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in project engineering with a strong design background. Proven track record in the design, development, and implementation of composite material-based products or similar innovations. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. Willingness to be based in Hyderabad and travel as necessary to fulfill customer and project demands.
