xe2x80x8bOrganizational Overview:This role will be part of the Data Architecture & Analytics group part of CTO organization.

• Data team is responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading(ETL).
• Data team owns and manages different tools platforms which provides an environment for designing and building different data solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Building and maintaining data models to facilitate data access and analysis by Data Scientists and Analysts

Role Summary/Purpose:We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and operations by creating an environment for efficient development, testing, and deployment of software. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with the platform, infrastructure teams and operations team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and services.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Infra, platform and operations teams to improve the IaC development and deployment process
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripts and tools like Terraform IaC, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and optimize system performance and capacity
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related field or in lieu of a degree 4+years of experience in DevOps
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix and scripting languages like Python
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD etc
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong hands-on knowledge with AWS platforms and Terraform
• Excellent problem-solving skills and collaboration skills

*Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormationDesired Skills/Knowledge:

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Newrelic
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks
• Certification in DevOps or related field.

Eligibility criteria:

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related field or in lieu of a degree 4+years of experience in DevOps

• Strong hands-on knowledge with (AWS)Amazon Web Services platforms and Terraform

Work Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST(WORK TIMINGS: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time xe2x80x93 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
