Role and Responsibilities

• Lead Sustenance / Change management projects for Filtrex- Managing ECR, ECNs
• Managing CAD Design, assembly & drawings using Solid works
• New product Design, Design modification, VAVE & product enhancements
• Plan, co-ordinate and execute tasks/projects with focus on quality of deliverables and the timelines in each project gate phase
• Identification of all failure modes in the DFMEA and arrival of robust design
• BOM management
• Co-ordinate with external stake holders for development (suppliers and customers) Co-ordinate with internal stake holders (Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing & Supply chain teams)
• Develop design guidelines for all the components including the tooling
• CAD data management in PDM and ensure process adherence from all CFT

Required Skills:

• Product design using CAD tools (solid works), data management using PDM.
• Strong in Engineering drawings with GD&T skills, tolerance stack up and basic simulation.
• Experience in handling Sustenance, Value Engineering and change management projects (ECO, ECN)
• Knowledge of Plastics design, Material sciences and its applications.
• Experience in using engineering design tools like FMEA, PFMEA, 8D, A3
• Experience in New Product development from Concept Design till Production Release
• Good knowledge of Plastics Manufacturing & assembly process.
• Good understanding of polymer materials.
• Coordination and Communication with internal and external stake holders.
• Strong analytical skills. Analyzing lab test datas and derive conclusions and actions.
• Strong Problem-solving skills

Good to have skills

• Experience in design of Water Filtration products.
• Knowledge of Test / regulatory standards in water Purification.
• Work experience on new technological product developments/innovation projects is added advantage.
• Good understanding of Water Safety and Regulatory compliances in Drinking water products. (NSF, WQA labsetc).

Education:
BE in Mechanical Engineering with experience in filtration, water or similar industry.
Experience: 4 - 9 years of relevant experience.
