Position: Product Development Analyst

Job Location: Nairobi, Kenya(Africa)

Reports To: Managing Director

Experience: 5+ Years

Qualification: MBA + B.Tech(ME/EE)

Interview Mode: Zoom + Face to Face at Delhi

As a Product Development Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Managing Director to develop new product offerings. You will be responsible for conducting technical calculations, analyzing market trends, and formulating the commercial viability of bringing new products to market. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Calculations: Perform in-depth technical calculations and analysis to support the development of new commercial equipment products. This may include assessing feasibility, performance, and efficiency of proposed designs.

2. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product lines. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

3. Finance and Lease Modeling: Develop finance and lease model proposals to assess the financial aspects of product development initiatives.

4. Product Viability Assessment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the commercial viability of new product concepts. Evaluate factors such as production costs, pricing strategies, and potential revenue streams.

5. Route to Market Strategy: Work with the Managing Director to formulate effective strategies for bringing new products to market. This includes identifying the distribution channels, marketing approaches, and sales tactics.

6. EPC Project Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the fundamental requirements for designing and executing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. This includes sourcing specialized machines and installation materials, developing design parameters for required processes, identifying subcontractors for installation, testing, and commissioning, and executing project management specific to EPC projects.

7. Prototype Development: Assist in the creation of product prototypes or models for testing and validation purposes. Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure prototypes align with market requirements.

8. Financial Analysis: Prepare financial models and projections to evaluate the financial impact of product development initiatives. Analyze ROI, break-even points, and profitability.

9. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure a coordinated approach to product

development.

10. Reporting: Generate regular reports and presentations to update the Managing Director and other stakeholders on the progress of product development projects.

Must-Have:

Proven experience in product development, technical calculations, or a similar role within the commercial equipment industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis and financial modelling.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.

Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Must have a valid passport
