Ensure Form, Fit and Function logic is followed. Ensure mating parts are considered before releasing to production.Apply correct method of dimensioning in compliance with drafting standards.How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Make an ImpactSelf-check for accuracy of all drawings, layouts and bills of material.Check vendor drawings as required.Assist factory inspector and Product Design Engineer in dispositions of non-conformances of parts.Participate in Process Improvement.Understand and incorporate basic specs, standards and design criteria provided.Participate in development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of design tools, product improvements, and engineering standards associated with design, manufacturing, testing, and repair of turbomachinery productsMaintain accurate and organized engineering records.Follow all processes and obtain vital approvals where required.Other miscellaneous duties to support the product lines success.What You BringDiploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.3 years to 7 years of experienceHigh attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively and individually with the same passion and intensity.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skillsPossess and demonstrate a high degree of tact and professionalism; and be capable of dealing with Management, Peers, Shop Personnel, Inside Sales and SCM.Good organizational and time management skillsSolid digital literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point) and basic 2D/3D CADWilling and able to travel domestically and internationally with short notice (estimated 0-10% travel)About the TeamOur Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
