As an Associate Product Designer, you will work closely with other designers and cross-functional teams across the globe to help develop software solutions that help keep the world\'s personal information private.Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and across geos during all stages of the software product design process including research, design iteration, reviews, and implementation
  • Ensure all designs comply with corporate standards and industry best practices
  • Share ideas and design solutions with the perforce product design community to promote collaboration, continuous growth, and design consistency
  • Leverage existing component libraries and design patterns to solve new, interesting technical design challenges
  • Create wireframes, low and high-fidelity mockups, and other design assets to communicate design ideas and articulate design rationale
Requirements
  • Degree in a HCI or other design related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience using modern wireframing tools such a Figma (preferred) or Sketch
  • Self-motivated, able to manage your time and work effectively, and meet agreed-upon project deadlines
  • Demonstrable examples of product design for a technical audience
  • General knowledge of UX research methodologies
  • Basic understanding of HTML elements, CSS, icon libraries, and component libraries
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills - willing to provide and receive constructive feedback as a part of the creative process
Who will you be working with?
  • You\'ll be working closely with Perforce product management and support to ensure designs align with project goals and customer needs.
  • You\'ll be working closely with engineering teams to ensure that designs are feasible within product code constraints.
  • You\'ll be working with the Perforce product design community to share thoughts and ideas across the Perforce product lines.
  • You\'ll be working closely with other product designers to ensure your designs are consistent and compatible with complementary products and functionalities.
