Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.



We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital).
At RazorpayX, our Business Banking+ (BB+) suite powers 100% of money movement for businesses--through products like Payouts, Smart Collect, Account Validation, and our scalable banking platform (Current Accounts and Escrow). BB+ is trusted by fast-scaling mid-market and enterprise clients across verticals like e-commerce, gaming, lending, and broking. Built for performance, reliability, and scale, it enables automation of high-volume disbursals, vendor payments, reconciliation, and compliance workflows.

The Role:

As a Product Designer 2, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the design of the core money movement workflows in Business Banking. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and analytics to craft seamless, scalable experiences that solve high-impact, real-world business problems.



You'll own end-to-end design delivery--from discovery to shipped experiences. Your work will bring clarity to complex financial systems, simplify workflows, and create thoughtful, elegant solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Beyond functionality, you'll care deeply about behavior, delight, and long-term experience quality. You'll also contribute to and evolve our design system, advocating for scalable design thinking across the product suite.

Responsibilities:

End-to-End Ownership - Drive the design of intuitive, user-centric solutions across the BB+ product suite--from discovery to delivery. Define experience goals, lead design execution, and own outcomes in your domain. Vision to Execution - Translate intricate financial workflows into elegant, scalable UX. Help shape the long-term product vision while balancing user needs, business goals, and tech feasibility. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with PMs, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers. Engage in critiques, reviews, and product rituals to drive alignment and shared ownership. Craft & Systems Thinking - Design thoughtful interaction models, wireframes, and prototypes using Razorpay's design system. Contribute back to the system through use and feedback. Communication & Influence - Present your work with clarity and intent. Use storytelling and design artifacts to inspire, align, and drive decisions across stakeholders. Iteration & Feedback - Continuously test and refine your designs. Proactively seek out feedback from users and teams to improve and evolve your solutions. AI Competency - Maintain a strong AI toolkit and know when and how to use it effectively. Leverage AI tools to accelerate workflows--but always lead with human insight, taste, and intent.

What we're looking for:

2+ years of hands-on experience designing digital products. A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and interaction design--especially in data-heavy or systems-driven environments. Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma preferred), and ability to prototype and test ideas. Experience working with or contributing to a design system. Solid communication and collaboration skills--you can articulate decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex problem spaces. Comfort with behavioral analytics and a bias toward data-informed design decisions. Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to thoughtfully integrate them into your workflow.
