Product Design - Furniture Internship

Duration: 6 months

Stipend: Rs 8000/- per month

Start Date: 2nd December 2024

About the Internship:

SPAR TECHNOVET PRIVATE LIMITED, a leading interior design firm, is seeking a talented and innovative Product Design - Furniture Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing furniture pieces, from concept to production.

Responsibilities:

• Researching current trends and market demands in furniture design
• Creating innovative furniture designs that align with the company's aesthetic
• Developing detailed design drawings and specifications
• Collaborating with manufacturers and artisans to bring designs to life
• Prototyping and testing furniture designs
• Staying updated with the latest materials, techniques, and technologies in furniture production

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field
• Strong design skills and a creative eye for detail
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A passion for furniture design and a desire to create functional and beautiful pieces
