About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and motivated Product Design Intern to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to learn and contribute to the design of innovative, user-centered products while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll gain hands-on experience in design research, ideation, prototyping, and user testing, as well as an understanding of how design impacts product development and user experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in User Research: Support the team in conducting user research activities like interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights.
• Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas and solutions.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to implement and refine design solutions.
• Support Usability Testing: Plan, execute, and analyze usability tests to identify pain points and opportunities in the user journey.
• Contribute to Design Documentation: Maintain and organize design files, specifications, and design systems for easy handoff to development teams.
• Learn & Apply Feedback: Participate in design critiques and feedback loops to improve personal design skills and deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Design Tools: Experience with design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
• Basic Prototyping Skills: Experience creating wireframes and prototypes, with familiarity in tools like InVision, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• User-Centered Design Mindset: Demonstrated understanding of user research methods and how insights inform design decisions.
• Strong Communication: Ability to articulate design concepts and ideas to team members and stakeholders.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn from others and contribute to team goals.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive attitude toward challenges and enthusiasm for designing innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with HTML, CSS, or other front-end development languages.
• A portfolio showcasing design projects, case studies, or creative problem-solving processes.
• Familiarity with user testing tools (e.g., Lookback, UserTesting, Hotjar, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?10,000.00 per month
