As a Product and Innovation Design Consultant, you will be integral to our multi-disciplinary teams. You will use your broad design expertise and creative flair to solve our clients' complex challenges. Key Skills And Competencies We Are Looking For

Storytelling - Novel and creative approach to opportunity narratives of the present or future, leveraging metaphors, analogs, using very abstract thinking to help connect insight to story in unique ways

Design - UX / UI Design tool proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, others

Innovation - Knowledge of or interest in topics of the future (e.g., Generative AI, Accessible experiences, Equity-centered Design, Sustainability) and an ability to connect them to their impact on individuals, the firm, or our clients, and their stakeholders

Research, Strategy, and Product - Human Centered Design Research, Business Case Development, Go-To-Market Planning, Market Sizing, New Venture / New Business Opportunity Development and Launch Planning, New Venture Sustainment, Business Model Innovation, Product Strategy and Product Management

Must-have Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Design or equivalent field
• 2- 4 years of experience within UX / UI, Human-Computer Interaction, applied research, or product design and research

About the Job


We are seeking designers who possess a unique blend of business strategy and design expertise. This role requires understanding the ability to apply design thinking principles to drive strategic initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for delivering impactful design solutions that is balanced with business viability and tech feasibility.


This role demands a critical and strategic thinker who keeps abreast of emerging trends in both business strategy and design, and who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into broader business strategies. Our Strategic Designers play a pivotal role in shaping Deloitte's competitive advantage through innovative and visually compelling design strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape compelling business cases for human-centered solutions by delving into market dynamics, understanding customer desires, and highlighting unique value propositions.
• Create compelling visual representations, including journey maps, personas, and prototypes, to communicate design concepts and strategies effectively.
• Define and develop concepts and prototypes of products, services, and experiences at varying levels of fidelity - often by guiding a small team that may include designers with varying kinds of expertise.
• Perform analyses on return on investment (ROI) to gauge the viability and potential advantages of strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with human centered goals.
• Understand the technology landscape and build digital strategies to uncover new sources of value and opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients based on industry best practices and emerging trends.
