Product Manager:


As part of our growing automation team, we're in search of an experienced product manager to lead our multi-disciplinary development team. As an ideal candidate he/she will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them. He/She should have proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production -- from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products that improve consumer experience and grow market share.

Position Summary

• 7-12yrs of experience in a similar profile with strong service delivery background
• Own the product vision for your area. Ensure that it aligns with the overall team and company vision. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand on the vision.
• Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build intimate, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer's voice into the creation process.
• Manage the product roadmap. Make tough tactical prioritization decisions while helping the company think long-term. Build trust with stakeholders through transparency and collaboration
• Drive entire feature delivery lifecycle: research user needs; write user stories; design and prototype UX; work with engineering to develop, test and deliver an impactful product on time; collaborate with internal customers to drive awareness and adoption.
• Develop new opportunities. With your finger on the pulse of the business needs, the users and the engineering roadmap, you are uniquely positioned to discover and develop new opportunities
• Business Case Development
+ Defines the guidelines for developing business cases for a complex product / set of products, system and / or software
+ Develops thought leadership and monitors the marketplace for new trends, tools or approaches for business case development
+ Reviews and ensures that the business case appropriately captures the clients' / business needs and the value add
+ Defines critical interdependencies across business cases and programs
+ Identifies critical success factors to help ensure value realization

+ Business Requirements Definition, Analysis and Mapping
+ Leads comprehensive analyses of requirements for a new or modified product and to understand and define underlying business drivers
+ Consults on various projects as a requirement analysis subject matter expert
+ Stays current with industry and vendor products in terms of improvements and enhancements
+ Defines requirements gathering, analyses and mapping guidelines, techniques and frameworks; directs teams to create processes, tools and technologies to enhance business requirement mapping
+ Leads prioritization and trade-off decisions
+ Directs team to document requirements including customer journey, epics, features, user stories, outlining what is in and out of scope
+ Presents a compelling business case for proposed solutions
+ Assesses alignment between requirements, solutions and eventual outcomes
+ Reviews and suggests solutions to address common feasibility issues and business requirement misalignment issues
+ Proposes improvements to business solutions
• Demand Analysis
+ Leads demand analysis activities
+ Reviews and provides additional insights for demand analysis reports before submitting for approval
+ Analyzes findings to determine impact on business operations and strategies
+ Creates demand analysis testing techniques to determine if a product can successfully enter a market and generate expected profits
+ Recommends products / services and techniques to launch products / services based on the results of the demand analysis
+ Recommends investments in a product, based on forecasts and analysis of market
• Financial & Risk Management
+ Generates a feasible project plan and budget for senior management's approval
+ Performs financial analyses; tracks the time and cost of a technology project
+ Analyzes risk factors; performs financial risk assessment
+ Coordinates the completion of project deliverables within agreed cost, timescale and resources
+ Assists in development of a risk assessment framework
• Knowledge of Customers Market
+ Advises on the appropriate solutions to complex customer problems or emerging customer trends related to various markets
+ Supports the development of strategies and plans for new products and new customers
• Portfolio Management
+ Supports the development of project plans based on portfolio objectives and the definition of the amount of resource investment required
+ Analyzes the costs and benefits of proposed investments and projects and prepares required portfolio management reports
+ Proposes changes to processes or services to improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Product Commercialization
+ Translates product strategy into a roadmap of actionable steps to bring the product to market
+ Plans a seamless process for roll-out of new products and services, considering legal viability and policy and regulatory constraints
+ Assesses the effectiveness of all marketing and promotional initiatives to commercialize products / services using performance metrics
+ Assesses risk levels of product / service commercialization plans and develops possible contingency plans
+ Weighs all relevant considerations to help optimize and balance marketing channel efforts
+ Evaluates the benefits and risks associated with multiple marketing channels
+ Applies multi-channel strategies to diverse products, services and markets
+ Collaborates with senior management in planning and executing a multi-channel marketing strategy
• Product Lifecycle Management (Using Agile Methodologies)
+ Demonstrates advanced understanding of all phases of the product lifecycle
+ Drives all phases of the product lifecycle management, including documentation required for each phase, for products of medium to high complexity
+ Demonstrates advanced experience (at least 5+ years) in implementing products in the market using agile methodology
• Stakeholder Management
+ Engages relevant stakeholders to understand their project expectations and requirements
+ Develops plans for early engagement, allowing time for buy-ins and consultation with stakeholders taking into consideration stakeholder positions, agendas and priorities
+ Manages, influences and negotiates with stakeholders, addressing escalated issues or problems
+ Facilitates alignment of expectations between relevant stakeholders and project team
+ Facilitates procedures to improve relations and open communications with and between stakeholders
+ Analyzes and interprets collated feedback using appropriate analysis techniques
+ Addresses mismatched areas of expectation
+ Builds relationships with relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle according to stakeholder management plans
+ Drives the relationship process and communications plans to ensure that stakeholders are constantly kept informed
• Strategic Product Planning and Roadmap
+ Builds a solution roadmap aligned to strategic direction
+ Facilitates stakeholder alignment to the solution roadmap
+ Facilitates discussion of options and scenario planning related to the solution roadmap
+ Provides input for strategic plan development and creates product plans and roadmaps to meet business requirements
+ Monitors progress of work against product plan and roadmap
+ Plans for allocation of resources to achieve technical and business objectives

Essential

• Leadership DNA - proven ability to excite and lead a cross-functional engineering team.
• Ability to gather and transform business requirements and technical needs into a successful product strategy.
• 5-10 years of product management or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Comfort in high-level business discussions with internal/external executives and handling sensitive customer situations.
• Proven ability to deliver on commitments.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering + MBA would be ideal
• Should be able to work with a multi culture global teams and team virtually
• Should be able to build strong relationship with project stakeholders
