• Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy tailored to the Indian market
• Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers, ensuring high efficiency and quality standards are consistently met
• Establish and expand a strong supplier network to support India's growth objectives
• Maximize efficiency and minimize end-to-end costs of product sourcing through effective negotiation and process improvement
• Ensure suppliers meet and maintain the required standards of efficiency and quality
• Oversee the supply chain network of India and manage strategic partnerships to drive speed, profitability, quality and resilience with the regional team
• Work closely with Asia & EU teams to manage Emma's existing strategic partners in India; as well as onboard, coach and integrate new partners into the Emma eco-system

Who we're looking for

• Bachelors in Technology/Engineering; and/or a Degree in Supply Chain & Operations from a reputable university in India
• MBA from a reputable university is a plus
• Have an excellent working proficiency both in English and Hindi as a mode of communication
• Have handled third-party business partners with manufacturing/production/logistics, or have worked with companies in a similar domain
• Knowledgeable on sourcing, production planning, transportation, warehousing and/or customer service areas
• Have a very strong context of understanding different constraints in the supply chain and knowing how to circumvent them (lead times, capacity, etc.)
• Have worked with certain cost buckets in operations and know where to find opportunities to generate savings.
• Have had experience in project management of initiatives that generate increased productivity/speed through process improvements.
• Have experience in managing multiple external suppliers at the same time, managed negotiations to drive favourable results
