This position will be responsible for tasks and projects related to supplier agreements, purchase requests, renewals, contracts, and supplier spend analysis across all areas of the business. Candidate must have excellent English communication and writing skills, US sourcing or procurement experience, excellent customer service skills, strong analytical skills, and a strong sense of inclusion and teamwork.QualificationsResponsibilities:

  • Assists with feedback and coaching of P2P team resources in India
  • The role requires close collaboration with colleagues in the US and demands flexibility to work during evening IST hours to align with US working hours. Although the company permits hybrid work, employees can set their own working hours, ensuring some overlap with US hours. There will be a 6-hour overlap for the first six months to accommodate training and vendor meetings. We will revisit the possibility of reducing this overlap to 4 hours after that period
  • With minimal direction works all assigned requests and projects, ensures all are completed timely and follow expected process.
  • Independently works with vendors on quotes, proposals, and negotiating terms. Resolve issues or disputes with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies with limited oversight.
  • Independently coordinates with business owners, contracting, and other teams as needed before execution of agreements, ensuring all processes are followed.
  • Negotiates with Vendors and ensures purchases comply with Huron\xe2\x80\x99s process and requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
  • Guides and trains business owners. Works requests from start to finish through approval and contracting, and issue of purchase order
  • Manages completion of requests across multiple priorities and deadlines. Requests and projects will primarily for US based purchases.
  • Helps maintain contract repository and reporting, both manual and through Huron\xe2\x80\x99s contract management tools. (Excel, DocuSign CLM, Workday, etc.)
  • Oversees assigned renewals and ensures they are completed on time, and with proper lead time.
  • Works with vendor and business to achieve the best value to Huron. Helps business prepare for renewals or purchases and evaluate vendor options.
  • Assists with formal RFP process and leads RFPs as assigned.
  • Is a subject matter expert for the team. Handles escalations.
  • Creates and maintains spend analysis reporting and operational reporting as assigned.
  • Reviews, investigates, and resolves invoice and PO inquiries, matching to contract terms and scope.
  • Maintains proper vendor documentation and tracking through process for tracking and compliance, creates/runs reports as requested.
  • Works on projects as assigned, such as vendor tracking, analysis, research, or other vendor management initiatives (diversity tracking, compliance reports, spend reports, etc.)
  • Creates pivot tables, reports, and analysis from raw data dumps and varied data sources.
  • Follows company request and approval processes, ensures purchases receive necessary approvals before completion.
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements, assists with enhancing the Vendor Management and procurement process, contributes to team success and results, and assists in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements / Skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to work with stakeholders from the US and other regions at all levels of the business, including company MDs, executives, and suppliers, to negotiate, guide process, resolve all business and contracting questions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate comfortably at all levels among our internal clients and our suppliers. Both in India and the US.
  • Ability to work quickly and independently, with minimal supervision
  • A minimum of 6 to 8 years of contracting or US procurement experience, including negotiation skills across categories such as professional services, software licensing, Marketing, HR, and labor procurement.
  • Experience directly negotiating supplier contracts, reviewing purchase requests, and managing Purchase Orders.
  • Strong skills in customer service, negotiating and influencing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, O365, etc.)
  • Data and analysis skills for spend analysis and operational metrics preferred.
  • Skilled in developing effective relationships with both business teams, as well as vendors.
  • Excellent attention to detail: reviewing contract terms, evaluating proposals, invoices, financials, and budgets
