POSITION OVERVIEW: The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role within the Sourcing Team, responsible for executing the sourcing strategy and managing procurement activities. This individual will ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, adhering to company policies and industry best practices. The role involves collaboration with various internal stakeholders and external suppliers to achieve optimal procurement outcomes. WHAT YOU\'LL DO:
Sourcing and Supplier Management:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies in alignment with business goals.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure performance and continuous improvement.
Procurement Operations:
Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
Evaluate supplier proposals, conduct bid analysis, and make recommendations for supplier selection.
Execute Statements of Work (SOW) in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor and track procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Resolve any contractual disputes or issues in a timely manner.
Cost Management:
Implement cost-saving initiatives and track procurement savings.
Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Prepare cost analysis and reports to support decision-making processes.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Leverage procurement tools and technologies to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with internal departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on procurement status and resolve any issues.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in an enterprise-level organization.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and technologies.
Experience with SOW execution and issuing supplier POs.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
