We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.We are looking for Procurement Specialist GCC for Gurgaon locationPurpose of Position:The position will be part of our Procurement Global Service Centre team located in Gurgaon, India, that supports many of the global geographies that Axalta does business in. The candidate will coordinate closely with the local Service Centre Team Lead on key priorities and opportunities as well as peer collaboration within and across the other Global Service Centre teams located elsewhere in the world. Overall governance is provided from Director Global PS&E based in Philadelphia, USA.Key responsibilities and accountabilities:Execute the buy process (PR to PO) for Indirect goods & services: request quotations, award and submit purchase orders. Create and maintain purchasing documents in Axalta\xe2\x80\x99s systems. Payment problems resolution (investigation and improvement). Vendor Master management: create, maintain and approve suppliers in Axalta\xe2\x80\x99s systems. Monitor and execute all transactions according to Axalta\xe2\x80\x99s internal controls and policies (Buy-Release-Receipt-Pay). Communicate and coordinate actions among all internal and external stake-holders to effectively assure supply of goods and services. Administration and reporting as necessary (from DP systems and external sources). Transactional system and process support to Axalta strategic buying team. Liaison with regional and global buying teams, providing information & analytical support in alignment with their goals on portfolio management and savings. Drive continuous improvement on the most efficient use of the appropriate sourcing tools.Background Education and Language skill:University graduate (College degree) and 3 to 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 ExperienceProficient in written and Spoken English. Other European languages will be highly valued.Personality:Self-driven, results oriented with positive attitude towards changes and new challenges. Reliable, mature and adaptive person. Able to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural and dynamic work environment. High degree of detail orientation.Computer skills:Computer-literate performer with basic software knowledge covering a variety of applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as SAP/Ariba and S4 HANALiteracy and Numeracy:Analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining simple work processes.Business, Buying and Negotiation Skills:Basic buying and/ or negotiation skills would be a plus. All business, buying and negotiation knowledge to be developed on the job.Teamwork Ability:Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
