This Procurement Professional is a key role responsible for providing robust governance in following up with critical suppliers on supporting Sourcing projects within E&T Procurement. This role involves driving project timelines & mitigating risks to achieve successful project outcomes. This role needs very close coordination between E&T Procurement Teams (SDEs, Category Buyers & PELs) and the identified Suppliers. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with key Regional Category Managers and suppliers to oversee critical Localization and Global Sourcing projects.
Act as the primary liaison between the E&T Procurement Teams and strategic suppliers, particularly in the areas of Fabrications, Tubes, and Harnesses, Engine Components, Castings
Drive assurance of supply and capacity expansion initiatives in alignment with the E&T India strategy and Enterprise Cost Reduction goals.
Monitor projects involving suppliers to support SDEs, Buyers & Project Execution Leads.
Conduct regular visits to supplier facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and cost objectives.
Provide techno-commercial expertise and support project management to meet aggressive timelines.
Keep Buyers/SDEs/PELs informed about project status updates and provide crucial information for ongoing and future projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supplier development, supply chain management, or related fields.
Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and overseeing complex projects.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in the areas of Fabrications, Tubes, and Harnesses, Engine Components, Castings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel extensively to supplier sites within the Pune region.
