Job descriptionGive Me Trees Trust is one of the largest community based voluntary tree planting and conservation movements in India, having facilitated the plantation and preservation of more than 23 million trees all over the country in the last 45 years, with more than 17,000+ volunteers working all across India, seeks dynamic and motivated professional with relevant experienceDuties & Responsibilities: Position: Purchase and Procurement OfficerPlan Purchases\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with team members to identify and plan procurement needs\xc2\xb7 Forecast future requirements based on project timelinesVendor Management\xc2\xb7 Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and other relevant criteria\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers\xc2\xb7 Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous termsPurchasing\xc2\xb7 Issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation of procurement activities\xc2\xb7 Monitor order status and expedite deliveries to meet project timelines\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with organizational and donor procurement policies and proceduresInventory Management\xc2\xb7 Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data\xc2\xb7 Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the logistics team to manage inventory effectivelyQuality Assurance\xc2\xb7 Conduct inspections and quality control checks on received goods\xc2\xb7 Handle and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliersCompliance and Reporting\xc2\xb7 Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable laws and regulations\xc2\xb7 Prepare and submit regular procurement reports to management and donors\xc2\xb7 Maintain transparency and accountability in all procurement processesEducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plusExperience\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within an NGO or non-profit organization\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation and contract managementSkills and Competencies\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\xc2\xb7 Excellent negotiation and communication skills\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team\xc2\xb7 High level of integrity and commitment to ethical procurement practicesOther Requirement\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with donor regulations and compliance requirements\xc2\xb7 Ability to travel to project sites and supplier locations as neededJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: \xe2\x82\xb920,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb930,000.00 per monthExperience:
