B. JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all materials meet the
design specifications, coordinating with architects, project heads, and vendors, and overseeing
the logistics and storage of materials on-site. The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in
maintaining the quality and cost-efficiency of our projects.
C. RESPONSIBILITIES
xe2x97x8f Drawing and Specification Review: Understand and interpret architectural and
engineering drawings to ensure accurate procurement of materials as per design
specifications.
xe2x97x8f Quantity Surveying: Conduct quantity surveys to determine the exact materials and
quantities required for each project phase.
xe2x97x8f Vendor Management: Identify, connect with, and manage vendors across India to source
materials that meet the required quality standards.
xe2x97x8f Coordination: Work closely with architects to obtain design approvals and with project
heads to secure cost approvals.
xe2x97x8f Negotiation: Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms while ensuring
material quality is not compromised.
xe2x97x8f Purchase Orders: Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) in line with project timelines
and budget.
xe2x97x8f Logistics and Storage Management: Oversee the logistics of material delivery and manage
the storage of materials on-site, ensuring they are secure and accessible when needed.
xe2x97x8f Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate daily records of material usage on-site, ensuring
transparency and accountability.
xe2x97x8f Billing Management: Oversee the billing process for all procured items, ensuring accurate
and timely payments for civil and finishing works.
xe2x97x8f Audit: Review all requests for proper documentation including official price quote, and
necessary approvals for any exceptions/deviations from standard price policy. Ensure
integrity of the Procurement Function through proper maintenance of workflows and
periodic audit of processes.
xe2x97x8f Focus on sourcing and managing interior finishing materials.D. SKILLS
xe2x97x8f Proficiency in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
xe2x97x8f Knowledge of quantity surveying techniques.xe2x97x8f Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
xe2x97x8f In-depth knowledge of the Indian construction material market.
xe2x97x8f Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
xe2x97x8f Flexibility to travel to vendor sites and project locations as required.
E. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
xe2x97x8f Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain
Management, or a related field.
xe2x97x8f Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
are a plus.
xe2x97x8f Minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the real estate
or construction industry.
xe2x97x8f Strong understanding of luxury materials and finishes used in high-end real estate
projects likewise value-engineering.
F. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
English, Hind, Marathi
G. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should be comfortable with travel within India.
