Deliverable Role / Responsibilities



Provide the leadership to the procurement activities and team within the Account (India and APAC region) & be the single point of contact for procurement in the India for Verizon. Be responsible for Statutory compliance program for sub vendors across Verizon India In consultation and collaboration with Verizon team leads oversee the operation, staffing, performance and development of the sub-contractor service delivery across all sites. Ensure client satisfaction with Facility/Project Management teams across India sites by providing a seamless interface into central procurement of S&P. Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness and creativity. Understand the Procurement Management scope for the client assigned and develop client specific processes and procedures in consultation with Transition Manager and ensure implementation and compliance of the processes. Oversee the development and management of the sub contracted services budgets. Provide detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the team in standardized RFQ/bid and contract processes. Negotiate pricing and terms with Adhoc - Projects vendors to provide best possible solution for Verizon Coordinate and oversee contractor activities, schedule adherence, site conditions, safety and budget to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and expected project design. Ensures effective, efficient and safe operations through supplier orientation and pre-project preparation. Oversee compilation and deliver the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the team. Coordinate discussions with each direct report regarding goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning and incentive/salary administration. Contract Management: Identify & mitigate risks by way of executing contracts, SLA and other T&Cs and timely renewals thereof. Ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit standards.

Experience and Qualification



Graduate /Post -Graduate. Qualifications in either Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or an MBA in SCM/operations management Logistics will be an advantage. Purchasing experience required 5 to 7 Years Knowledge of ERP like SAP / Oracle, JD Edward would be a plus
