Ensure that all the key suppliers within the spend category are aligned to the company\'s Suppliers Code and compliant with Responsible Sourcing Requirements.
Integrate Innovation elements from suppliers into company\'s Innovation and Renovation processes.
Network with the industry / other markets / zone management to gain an insight into the various spend categories which would help in formulating a sound purchasing strategies.
Accountable for driving projects that cuts across various categories of material and pertains to the overall function.
Ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders & Closely liase with business to ensure business priorities and the department activities and priorities are closely aligned to each other.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies.
Analyze and optimize the P2P process related to the spend category through the right choice of procurement tools.
Ensure alignment between business strategy and sourcing strategy
Set objectives to be achieved through the sourcing strategy and monitor achievement
Derive negotiation strategy from category positioning and negotiate to achieve the objectives defined in the strategy
Manage suppliers according to category positioning and SRM principles

Minimum 5+ years of Procurement and/or SCM experience in buying palm oil, edible oils
Over a sustained period has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge.
Ability to create and sustain credible long term relationships with suppliers and external stakeholders
Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects and manage issues/ crisis situations
Has demonstrated the ability to influence internal stakeholders & external stakeholders
Has demonstrated successful use of TCO analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
