Responsibilities

• Support Project team in entire procurement process.
• BoQ preparation and cost plan for all RIBA stages.
• Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, Tender documentation, preparation of contracts and tender management, negotiating supplier agreements.
• Involve in Market Testing and bring best value to the project.
• Manage the vendor management platform to ensure compliance information is up to date.
• Tender Evaluation and Recommendation.
• Actively support the supplier onboarding process.
• Identify process/system improvements opportunities and participate in their implementation.
• Perform root cause analysis and identify solutions.
• Support Project Managers for project performance feedback based on their service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• Charteredship in any institution is added advantage.
• Extensive experience in different types of Building sector.
• Basic knowledge construction project life cycle.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint required).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent reading and comprehension skills.
• Proficient ability to detect errors, inconsistencies and identify trends in data.
• Proficient in project related letter correspondences.
• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
• Can build relationships effectively with Clients.
• Effective communication at all levels.
• Able to set priorities and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong ability in negotiation.
• Knowledge in standard form of contracts. (FIDIC/JCT/NEC)

Skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Strong team player.
• Highly autonomous, proactive and self-starter.
• Attention to details paired with good analytical abilities.
• Strong Client presentation.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge in standard method of measurements (POMI/NRM/SMM/IS1200) and measurement tools like Auto CAD, Cost X.
• Work experience in a shared service, process driven or service centre environment is a plus.
• Results orientated, driven by value added and business sustainability.
• Shares best practices and learns from others.
