Job Description


This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Executive located in Mumbai. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, handling purchase orders, and overseeing purchase management. Additionally, strong analytical skills and effective communication will be essential in this role.Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement process with H.O by generating Forecast, Purchase order, and validating process requirements as per ODOO process.
  • Imputing and maintaining data in procurement related ODOO processes and applications.
  • Develop and recommend specific local sourcing scenarios based on spend analysis findings, extensive knowledge of the relevant local supply markets.
  • Coordinating with suppliers for necessary shipment documents, prior to shipping to ensure smooth clearance.
  • Coordinating and liaising with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
  • Support the procurement manager to determine price forecasts for budget cycles.
  • Monitor customer (internal) and vendor (external) compliance with procurement principles and practices within the assigned category group(s).
  • Negotiates and reviews long-term contracts with local suppliers to ensure optimum cost and reliable supply.
  • To source and onboard potential new suppliers where required, and to follow correct procedures and documentation when engaging suppliers.
  • Ensure that all assigned supplier contracts are up-to-date and that electronic and paper copies are stored appropriately.
  • Control and monitor expenses against approved budgets.
  • Develop sourcing strategies.
  • Cost saving budgeting and targeting.
  • Set and plan how to achieve supplier accreditation and service level management.
  • Payment terms: negotiation, optimization and management
  • Maintain contracts with vendors.
  • Review inventory and update as required.
  • Initiate and keep track of orders.
  • Receive, inspect, and distribute orders.
  • Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies from suppliers with H.O.
  • Monitor and update shipment schedule to ensure they are on time.
  • Maintain good relationships with local suppliers and renegotiate prices on a regular basis.
  • Annual asset stock take.
  • Administration and reporting as necessary.
Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
