• Plans and directs day-to-day operations for procurement
• Compliance to health and safety regulations of Imerys Group
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and procure materials in accordance with the company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
• Take appropriate corrective and preventive actions for the goods / services rejected in-house
• Responsible for planning and procurement of raw material, packing material, maintenance spares etc. within the specified timelines
• Undertakes continuous improvement actions to strengthen systems and processes
• Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved and service is quick and efficient
• Sound knowledge of procurement concepts, practices and procedures
• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
• Analyze shipment logs
• Responsible for analyzing and publishing ontime reports as per the requirements
• Determine, track and continuously improve on the Key KPIs

Education and Experience requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in Commerce
• 4-7yrs relevant working experience
• Sound knowledge of Safety
• Good working experience in MS-Office

• Good management skill-Computer literate with advanced level in MS Excel and Power-point.
