We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Procurement Executive to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities across the organization, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices. Maintain strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers.
Purchase Orders: Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms, conditions, and pricing. Follow up with suppliers to confirm timely delivery.
Cost Management: Work to minimize costs without compromising quality and service. Analyze and report on cost trends with recommendations for cost reduction.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and shifts that may impact supply and pricing of goods and services.
Inventory Control: Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock without overstocking.
Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal guidelines. Manage the quality control process to meet company standards.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve procurement processes and strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and logistics, to align procurement strategies with business needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a procurement or similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
