Job Description

Position: Procurement Engineer
Job Location: Sarjapura, Bangalore
Experience: 3 to 5 Years

:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and budget constraints.
• Identify and assess potential vendors and suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
• Resolve issues and disputes with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, or pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a procurement engineer or in a similar procurement role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering materials, equipment, and services procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
• Experience in procurement for large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and legal requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
