Job Purpose and Scope Responsible for purchasing direct raw materials such as Raw herbs, plant extracts, solvents, Excipients, Oils Etc and for Purchase analytics and MIS Key Accountabilities Source material such as Raw Herbs, plant extracts, solvents, oils, Excipients. from selected suppliers Onboarding and qualification of new suppliers whenever required for cost benefit, sustainable supplies. Responsible for commercial negotiation with selected suppliers to achieve targeted cost savings Purchase Analytics, periodic MIS, Export-Import data analytics Support in preparation of annual budget related to material requirement Create monthly and annual sourcing and procurement planning Supervising Purchase Order creation and approval process as per procure to pay SOP Co-ordinating with PPIC, production and sales team for monthly forecasting of material requirement quantities Co-ordinate with D&R for new product development and support in new materials procurement and development Co-ordinate with the logistics team to follow up on domestic and import materials ordered Follow up with accounts department on import and domestic procurement payments Monitoring supplier performance & escalate in case of any issues Monitor price changes on Raw materials and its principle components on a continuous basis & share regular updates Education: Graduate Preferred in Agriculture/ Food Technology Postgraduate in Management/Certifications in Materials Management /Procurement is preferred Experience: 1-4 years of experience Required Skill set & Experience Knowledge of SAP MM module Negotiation skills Supplier Management Direct Reporting : Sr. Director
