Position Summary
Buckman is seeking associates to work in our Procurement Shared Services team. This is an associate position that will perform procurement activity role in the ERP system.
Education
Bachelor's degree, supply chain management, or a related field.
Work Experience
2 - 4 years work experience in purchasing, procurement or in supply chain with the similar industry along with experience in SAP. Shared Service experience with a global organization would be an added advantage.
Key Outcomes / Responsibilities
Perform the following tasks under the guidance of the Buckman Procurement Team Lead
  • Like SAP Purchase info records (PIR) Updates, manage Supplier MDM and Material MDM updates, Supplier Contact details, Price updates, Inbound freight - manage surcharges vs actuals and update quarterly.
  • Reporting Monthly forecast to top suppliers, Eco Vadis reporting, and Purchase info records (PIR) report (spend cube)
  • Handling of Import/Export HTS codes from suppliers, Long-term declarations - Country of Origin
  • ISO Supplier questionnaires & follow-up
  • Vendor Setup on New Material set ups and ZFLOW
  • Indirect Spend / catalogue Management and perform catalogue management within SAP - selection and ordering of goods and services while ensuring compliance with negotiated contracts and pricing.
  • Miscellaneous Sample ordering, Regulatory documents requests & follow-up, CCAR follow-up & closure Returns, Invoice discrepancy resolution, SharePoint & Team site administration
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting any procurement related activities as required by the organisation.

Required Skills and Job Competencies

  • Flexible with the timing - Ideally able to mirror NA or EU time-zones
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Specific skill sets related to data management and analytics
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in procurement.
