Job Description


Processing Manager - Conditioning, Warehousing, Enhancement and Trial Seeds Lead, develop and manage regional Warehousing Conditioning,Enhancement and Trial seeds functions to ensure the accurate seed processing and proper seed and non seed handling to provide on time seed supply to marketaccording sales planning at the highest quality standards set forth by the company. People management of direct reports in the functions (coaching team members,solving ad hoc activities with individuals, coordination of mandatory trainings, executemerit budgets and STI\'s, management skill matrix and competencies related,participate safety walks). Manager Processing Lead, mentoring, and motivating to team, make them ready forfuture challanges. Assit to Regional Head Processing in Long term strategies in terms of capitalexpenditure and Human resources for processing functions. Acountable for CAPEX of warehousing, Conditioning, Stock Seed, Enhancement and Trial seeds department. Planning and excuting operational budget for warehousing, Conditioning, Stock seed, Enhancement and Trial seeds activities. Planning for long term resource (Man and Machine) requirement for sub Deaprtment Ensure and Establish the various meeting with in Processing department. Responsible to deliver high quality seed to the customer by right level of seedsmanship. Responsible for reviewing the processing errors and finding the appropriate root cause to avoid the reoccurance Ensuring proper recieving, storage, processing and Enhhancement activities of seeds. Responsible for seed and non seed inventory. Managemnt of warehouse housekeeping and preventive pest control. Responsible for seed and Non seed disposal as per standard protocols. Responsible for all wall to wall and statuary audits in Processing department. Manage and orgnize the purchase of all supplies needed for smooth operation of the sub department processes in order to fulfil the market demand in timely fashion. Manage direct and cordinate the personnel flow within the department includingappraisal, training, develope and carrier planning by using HR tools, guidelines,procedure and advice in order to select and maintain competent employees and ensure and efficientand effective functioning department. Write, develope, review, implement, maintain and follow the global and local Standard Operating Procedures for all the processes in order to ensure continuity and quality of processes and seed standards. Ensuring for processes and internal, external and certification audits in processingdepartment. Ensuring Operational Excellence approcah and improvment projects with in Processing department. Adhere to all required regional safety and compliances. Responsible for implementation of Responsible Care Management System Report any Hazard / Near miss / Incident if observed to site HSE Team. Participate in all Safety Activities/Campaigns. If any Incident happened within accountable unit, ensure that the Site incidentmanagement process is properly conducted and completed. Assume the responsibilities as per Delegation of Responsibilities (Deputy Regulations) Authorized to approve General Work / Hot Work / Confined Space Entry Work / Height Work and Excavation Work Permits. Key Success Factors: A personnel flow that proves development of individuals through seedmanship with highly performing individuals that have a high satisfaction and commitment. Ensure high quality seeds processing and deliver seeds to customer with high qualityand as per agreed time. Ensure legal requirement (Agriculture department) to operate Processing plant. Responsible for Seeds and non-seed inventory. Activities that are performed in the departments in a safe way with zero safetyincidents. And sustance of RCMS systems at processing department. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Masters / Graduation in agriculture or agriculture related field. Work experience: 15 years of seed industry experience and 5-years\' experience at managerial position. Language skill: Fluency in English and regional language. IT Microsoft Office applications and Document Applications Competencies: Good People management and interpersonal skills Proven ability to train and motivate personnel to balance staffing needs. Ability to work as a cross-functional team member at various peak times with energy tocomplete assigned goals. Strong analytical and reasoning abilities. Ability to work with diverse personalities maintain mutual respect. Ability to lead people managers. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Working conditions : Work is conducted in both an office setting and outdoors. Exposure to heat and potential hazard to dust, chemical and noise. Domestic and international travel required Strong global cooperation with international counterparts within Nunhems group
