The role of the Senior Technical is to oversee the R&D strategy of the Business for different product lines within the entity. The role must ensure necessary support forsales strategies, project implementation, and development of innovative solutions for product lines in accordance with the expressed or anticipated needs of customers.Directly reports to the Entity Managing Director and functionally to the Sector Head of Business Line level Management.

Principal Accountabilities:
Determine, in direct consultation with the Business CEO and Business Management Committee, the strategic directions for innovation and development of the product.
Ensure technological watch in relation to the market, which is relevant for product,
service, and technology development in the Business, as well as for maintaining thelong-term positioning of the Business current products, services, and technologies
Boost Technological innovation and development within his Product Line, is responsible to develop the technologies in his Product Line, generates / establishes portfolios of ideas, establishes roadmaps and elaborates projects to reach the innovations / developments selected in the field of health & safety, environment, competitiveness, quality or operating cost for our client, though put, adaptation to evolution of product.
Identify areas and establish guidelines for the development of fundamental know-how within the entities of the Business
Establish and maintain constructive relationships with potential partners or allies for
the development of entity products, services
Has authority on technological portfolio in his Product Line, participates to the redaction of Technical Specifications / proposals and defends JCIL solutions. Orientates the choices and validates technical offers with selected product / process, including performances targeted. Supports and/or participates to technical rounds with Clients for strategic projects. Participates to design reviews.
Is the guarantor of the Technology and supports Sales & Proposals and Execution in his Product Line
Validates the results of mathematical models in his perimeter, including dimensioning of equipment.
Develops a marketing approach of BAT (Best Available Technology) and/or competitive advantages on technologies of his Product Line, using this approach as input for technology Roadmap and innovation / development program of products / processes.
Maintains updated the reference list in his Product Line, including the establishment of a technology manual with guidelines for standard equipment, options, utility requirements, performances, \xe2\x80\xa6
Defines and develops standards on products / processes in his Product Line and establishes / coordinates roadmap to reach these standards. Ensure and monitors that Proposals and Execution are aligned with actual standards.
Maps the technologies used in his Product Line, benchmark with market, watch competition and tracks client expectations.
Participates to a PDCA approach within his Product Line to increase knowledge, improve design and realization of products / processes, with tools such as REX, Field Issue Notice (Non Conformity Report), Design Review.
Ensure protection of intellectual property rights of ideas and Business development
Develop attitudes, processes, and methods that can increase the potential for successful product and service development.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for relevant functions and processes in the
development function and regularly update them.
Provide technical advice in relevant areas, calling on internal Group expertise or
external competencies as necessary.
Analyze and anticipate technical risks.
Education
Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent, deep knowledge in product development, innovation. The experience should be 10-15 years.
Strong Knowledge of Product like processing lines, furnace, galvanizing lines
Mastered technical knowledge on the product lines
Able to think out of the box, to generate new ideas, to ensure Business opportunities for JCIL through technical collaboration and influencing customers
Able to work in autonomy and to communicate with several stakeholders including Customers, the technical know-how
Knowledge and abilities
Knowledge and understand of site and customer specific health & safety regulations
Previous Experience in product development, innovation and strategic technical partnership for large-scale projects including overseeing the entire end of end product solutioning approach.
