Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Travel Process Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs for new and existing employees on UK travel-related processes, policies, and systems. This role involves creating training materials, conducting workshops, and ensuring that employees are equipped with the necessary skills to provide exceptional customer service in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Training Delivery :
• Conduct training sessions on travel processes, including booking systems, travel policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
• Deliver engaging, clear, and effective training to new hires, as well as ongoing training for current employees.
• Tailor training content based on learner needs, ensuring a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Training Materials Development :
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and other resources.
• Ensure training materials are up-to-date with the latest industry trends, compliance regulations, and internal policies.
• Process Knowledge :
• Stay up to date on changes in travel regulations, booking systems, and travel-related policies.
• Provide clear explanations and demonstrations on travel processes, such as booking procedures, travel documentation, insurance policies, and customer handling.
• Training Administration :
• Organize and schedule training sessions, track attendance, and manage training records.
• Assess training effectiveness through feedback, quizzes, and performance reviews to ensure learners have absorbed key concepts.
• Customer Service Excellence :
• Promote and ensure a customer-centric approach in all training sessions, emphasizing how UK travel processes impact customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience :
• Previous experience in training or customer service within the travel industry, with specific knowledge of travel processes (such as booking systems, flights/ bookings, etc.).
• Knowledge :
• Strong understanding of travel regulations, travel systems, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms used in the travel sector (e.g., GDS systems, travel management software).
• Skills :
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to explain complex travel processes in simple, understandable terms.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and learners at once.
