Job Title \xe2\x80\x93 Process Specialist- Legal Document Administration Highly self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a challenging environment and passionate about mastering new domains The Purpose of This Role To review and qualify legal documents received from US retirement plan participants, Internal Revenue Services ( IRS) and Bankruptcy Courts The Value You Deliver
Analyze and processing legal documents such as Power of Attorney(POA), Bankruptcy and Tax levy orders
Qualifying whether Bankruptcy, Tax Levy, Garnishment and POA processing should occur and facilitating subsequent communication both internally and externally
Ensure accurate processing of allocated work with 100% efficiency
Interact and coordinate with different groups within Fidelity via email to ensure the SLA timeframes are met.
Work proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
Flexible and Willing to work in US shift timings

Ability to interpret the legal literature ,make decisions to qualify if the request is in good order and communicate to both internal and external stakeholders.

How Your Work Impacts the Organization Legal Document Administration (LDA) group is involved in reviewing and processing requests for freezing retirement accounts on instructions from IRS (tax levy), Bankruptcy orders from US Courts. They also qualify power of attorney (POA) requests granting authority for a third person to act on behalf of plan participant in matters pertaining to Retirement & Health & Welfare plans. Qualification means that the team is determining whether Bankruptcy, Tax Levy, and POA processing should occur and facilitating subsequent communication both internally and externally. Graduate in any discipline
At least 2 years of experience in operations with exposure to Tax levy, power of attorney and Bankruptcy cases desired
Knowledge of US retirement recordkeeping services is a plus but not essential
