Responsible for complete process design including selection & sizing of equipment such as Flares & KOD, H2S Scrubbers, and associated equipment like blower fans, air compressors, piping & pumps, heat exchangers, dehumidifiers, moisture traps, flame arrestors, etc. and requirement of utilities, performance evaluation, emission calculation, risk assessment and risk mitigation. Develop and apply engineered solutions for customer applications by understanding the specifications and anticipating the customers needs Prepare/Review Process documents such as Heat and Material balance & Process flow diagram (PFD) Process data sheet & Piping & Instrumentation diagram (P&ID) Control narratives & cause and effect matrix (C&E) Checking/Preparation of all Process Calculations like equipment sizing, Hydraulics, radiation analysis, Flare/Vent header, PSV, Blowdown etc. Review of vendor documents and technical bid evaluation To participate in safety, environmental and operability reviews (HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID, SIL). Handle a project independently and interact with all parties concerned both internal and external Exhibit strong interpersonal competence and as an effective Team player, work with Multi-National Clients and demonstrate effective communication. Adherence, and conformance to best practices and standards, establish, and adopt new standards when applicable. To travel for customer meetings, site inspections, troubleshooting, and performance tests activities. RequirementsBachelor\'s / Master\'s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering Conversant with international standards like API, ASME, ASTM etc. Strong knowledge and understanding of fluid mechanics and the thermal sciences Experience in combustion calculation and emission mitigation strategies. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Follow company guidelines and ensure compliance. Experience in Process Engineering for gas processing, refining or petrochemical industries; experience in combustion equipment will also be desirable Process engineering role supporting fired combustion equipment, combustion control, or related areas within refinery, and/ or chemical plant operations. Experience in the refining/petrochemical industries. Having experience in chemical engineering simulation software like HYSYS, UNISIM, FLARENET, FLARESIM, PIPENET, and PIPESIM. Very Strong skills-set in MS package and capable of quickly learning new software systems. Strong skills in programming Excel VBA and Python.
