JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : PROCESS ENGINEER - ASSEMBLY Dept./Section : Assembly Co-ordinates with Internal : Assembly Production dept., Tooling, Maintenance, QA, Procurement, Warehouse External : Supplier & Vendors PURPOSE OF POSITION To development process for new product & continue improvement process for mass production. Take charge of Tool & equipment process engineering to make sure of the operation achieving quality, productivity and output goals. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Development process to setup new product, launching new product. - Design process, workflow, PFMEA for product. - Co-operate with machine, tooling engineer to review machine, jig tool design. - Co-operate with machine engineer to do trial process for new machine, jig tool, set up transfer line... - Build detail requirement & co-operate with outside supplier to design machine jig, tool for new product - Build operation instructions for production line, machine setting condition document - Mass trial run & mass production machine readiness preparation. Continue follow up the production feedback after MP running. - Apply ECN to machine design - Study, research new technology to apply to production machine, equipment 2 Trouble shooting & problem solving for all related issue of quality, technical due to machine, tool assembly on production line during the trial & pre-MP phase *Troubleshooting to ensure the operation of equipment, machine & tool. Diagnose, analyze for trouble, error arising on production *Act for customer claim related to production process 3 Continue improvement for quality up, productivity up & reduce production cost *Co-operate with machine engineer, production & quality team to improve capability, ability & performance of current MP equipment, machine, tool *New product process design feedback to solve current chronic issue (quality & productivity) related process 4 Support to supplier to solve issue during setup or trial new process 5 Clearly understand self\'s and section\'s goals to make contribution to obtain quality and delivery goals. 6 Be accountable for the compliance to rules, procedure, and requirement in terms of: *6S & KAIZEN *Environmental Health Safety * RBA & Social Responsibility Protection of company assets 7 Understand, support, and contribute to current , Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures. 8 Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Environmental / CSR Ensure that the 1SO14001& 45001 and applicable legal requirements related to EHSMS are addressed appropriately in the areas handled Ensure that the Occupational Health & safety management system requirements are addressed appropriately in the areas handled. Active participation in (a) Emergency preparedness (b) Environmental core team, Legal team, Emergency response team (Firefighting, First aid & evacuation) teams as called for. Handling of accident reporting in their respective areas of control Support the EHS engineer in the accident investigation process and ensure appropriate controls are put in place to prevent recurrence. Ensure closure of audit findings in EHSMS & QMS in areas handled SPECIFIC AUTHORITIES He is authorized to stop the production and/or shipment which can cause adverse impact on the product quality. He is authorized to stop the work or process which violates the procedures set by the organization or regulatory bodies and can potentially harm safety of personnel, machine or premises. He is authorized to stop the work if it violates the compliance rules against the PBM principles JOB SPECIFICATION Qualification : Diploma/Degree in Engineering Preferred -Mechanical or Mechatronic Experience : Min 4-6 yrs. of experience in Injection Molding Machine Operation. Work experience in manufacture company or machine, automation design (work at position like: Production engineer, Automation engineer, machine design engineer) who experience design jig, tool, production line, automation machine or robot Skill Sets & Competencies : - Be able to read technical drawings - Good knowledge of Injection molding and/or over molding processes, scientific molding process - Be able to use CAD (NX, ...) - Being good at Office SW (MS Word, excel, Power point) - Can speak English - Confidentiality, initiative, accountability, carefulness, honesty, - Willing to learn & sharing knowledge - Good communication and analytic skills, interpersonal skills - Hard work, able to work overtime when needed - Exposure QMS including ISO /IATF 16949 & EHS ISO 14000, ISO 45000 Special Skills
