In Back-office functions you will primarily be working on Asset transition (Inbound, Cost Basis Reporting, Outbound). You will be responsible for Custody and accounting asset/securities transfers from / to brokers, Fund Managers, Custodians etc. You will also be responsible for Tax Lot and book adjustments and rebooking of failed trades.
Responsibilities:

  • Required good understanding on upstream and downstream of process of Asset transfer.
  • Basic knowledge of different types of tax costs, Tax code, Tax lot, Date of Death, Beneficiary, Inheritance/Gifts etc.
  • Hands on experience around stock in\xe2\x80\x99s & out\xe2\x80\x99s (Free Receipt/Delivery) process.
  • Good understanding around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage.
  • Experience of posting transactions on accounting & custody book for exception resolution is required.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel is required.
  • Experience of applications like AddVantage, Trust Desk & Global Plus applications would have added advantage.
  • Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework.
  • Good communication skill required to establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries.
  • Supports with specific client requirements or ad hoc requests.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
  • Any Graduate (PG an added advantage)
  • Effective probing & root cause analysis skills
Preferred qualifications
  • Relevant work experience in an Associate role is desirable.
  • Must have previous experience in a middle/back office in financial services firm
