Role title : Process and Solution Management Project manager
Location : Pune
Accountabilities
This role will be part of the Process and Solution management Team based out of Pune, reporting into lead Process and Solution Management.
Work proactively with the business and IT to document Finance impacts, business requirements, implementation plans, for projects
Define and develop ways of workings in coordination with FP&T
Develop project plans and track deliverables, issues, and risks to ensure successful launch of projects
Ensure clear communication of project responsibilities (e.g., expectations, assignments, and reviews) necessary to successfully complete projects
Facilitate issue resolution in a manner that keeps everyone productive and engaged
Enable and ensure the success of our projects by assuming responsibility for project support tasks that allow the team members to focus on project development and milestone delivery
Create positive relationships and maintain effective communication with all team members and stakeholders
Provide weekly status reports, escalate issues to management as needed
Specific key activities for this role:
Project Manager
Portfolio and Budget centralized view update, regularly meet with Business Consultants for Status and Risk Updates.
Key User for the Project Management - Systems - Horizons from Idea to project delivery, lookup for other systems & integrations.
Deliver portfolio status content for the regular stakeholders
Participate in the Global initiatives to standardize the methodology and project management practice.
Drive working group meetings, requirement gathering workshops and design discussions with functional IT stakeholders
SPOC:
Act as the Business Partner Single point of contact (SPOC) for Portfolio Management and Project delivery with Process and solution Management team, assessing business needs and adapting processes and technology.
Being the single point of contact for the broader finance community on issues pertaining to assigned projects
Collaborating with business and finance stakeholders to provide robust financial support and strategic input on complex and global business development opportunities
Identifies, recommends, and manages priorities for finance related projects
Proactively managing the portfolio risk/opportunities
Engaging with key stakeholders to discuss risk and opportunities across the portfolio
Manage the collection and analysis of information to provide regular progress reporting
Qualifications
Critical knowledge and education required for the job
10+ years of Work Experience in Finance
Qualification in Information Technology or Finance/Administration degree
Qualification or certification in process design and/or system/project management methodologies desired (i.e. PMP , Agile, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, etc.);
Leadership Capabilities:
Collaborative across teams and different Stakeholder levels in the organization
Motivating and inspiring change agent to drive Productivity
Self-drive and lead organizational skills
Core Capabilities:
Must have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills along with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy
Experience in project management essential
Detail-oriented and well organized
Strong project management skill with the ability to manage all aspects, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project
Demonstrated leadership in achieving objectives in a matrix organization, coordinating projects and services across boundaries
Functional/Technical Competencies (job function specific):
Knowledge of SAP for relevant Finance modules, being an SAP advanced User knowledge, having SAP Academy would be an asset
Budgeting and resourcing prior experience, Portfolio Administration Management would be an asset.
Microsoft Office suite skills - proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools.
