Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our hospital team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to maintain a positive image, build relationships with stakeholders, and ensure timely and accurate information dissemination.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the hospital's reputation

- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, stakeholders, and the community

- Write and disseminate press releases, media statements, and other communication materials

- Manage crisis communication and issues management

- Develop and maintain the hospital's website, social media, and other online platforms

- Coordinate events, press conferences, and other promotional activities

- Collaborate with hospital departments to develop internal and external communications

- Conduct media monitoring and analysis to track hospital coverage

- Develop and manage the hospital's brand identity and visual standards

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field

- At least 3-5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a healthcare setting

- Excellent communication, writing, and verbal skills

- Strong media relations and crisis management skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Proficiency in social media management and online communication tools

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Nice to Have:

- Experience in healthcare marketing or communications

- Knowledge of graphic design and video production

- Familiarity with hospital operations and healthcare industry trends
