JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: FactSet is seeking for a mid-senior level engineer with proficiency in Python along with expertise on AWS who is capable of building/maintaining Private Markets Content Pipelines with high scalability, performance , resilience and cost effectiveness. Ownership on end-end product development & deployment deliverables. Contribute to multiple engineering business functions Ensure delivering high quality, re-usable and maintainable code, perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks with in the estimated timelines. Influence Content Collection Pipeline design and innovation Keep up to date with the new standards and practices Strategically explore open-source opportunities to improve our workflows Collaborate with Content stakeholders to understand and prioritize their requirements Mentor and coach other members of the team Ensure adherence to Agile Methodology by working with Coaches, Scrum Masters and Product Owners Performance Improvements with the help of metrics provided by automatic monitoring all engineering artifacts. REQUIRED SKILLS : B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent experience 3+ years of overall industry experience. 3+ years of experience working professionally as a Python Software Developer Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional Experience with Python, SQL and Cloud Native Development A passion to provide value by enabling other developers Highly Desired Skills: Experience with Vue.js, AWS Experience of Jupyter Notebooks is plus. Experience in responsive web design and building responsive web sites is a plus Experience with Scrum, Kanban or Agile software development in general Experience working with or contributing to open source Experience working with remote teams Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices Ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team RETURNING FROM A BREAK We are here to support you!
