The Agile Coach serves as a mentor, teacher, facilitator and coach for individuals, teams, and the organization. They have a mastery level understanding of Agile-Lean values, principles and practices and know how to apply them appropriately to drive agility at each level of the organization. They use their skills and hands-on experience to build trust, inspire, and develop and drive Agile strategy and transformation for the organization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: FactSet is seeking for a leader with proficiency in Python along with expertise on AWS who is responsible in leading team to build/maintain Private Markets Content Pipelines with high scalability, performance , resilience and cost effectiveness. Ownership on end-to-end product development & deployment deliverables. Manage multiple engineering teams with different business functions Provide Transparent & Genuine feedback on regular basis Ensure delivering high quality, re-usable and maintainable code, perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks with in the estimated timelines. Influence Content Collection Pipeline design and innovation Keep up to date with the new standards and practices Strategically explore open-source opportunities to improve our workflows Create and Lead cross functional teams Collaborate with Content stakeholders to understand and prioritize their requirements Mentor and coach other members of the team Ensure adherence to Agile Methodology by working with Coaches, Scrum Masters and Product Owners Performance Improvements with the help of metrics provided by automatic monitoring all engineering artifacts. Required Skills: B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent experience 8-10 years of overall industry experience. 5+ years of experience working professionally as a Software Developer and 3+ years in managing engineers Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional Experience with Python, SQL and Cloud Native Development A passion to provide value by enabling other developers Highly Desired Skills: Experience with Vue.js, AWS Experience of Jupyter Notebooks is plus. Experience in responsive web design and building responsive web sites is a plus Experience with Scrum, Kanban or Agile software development in general Experience working with or contributing to open source Experience working with remote teams Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices Ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team RETURNING FROM A BREAK We are here to support you!
