:Private Equity (PE) AssociateJoin our private equity (PE) team at Grant Thornton and play a crucial role in building strong relationships with our key private equity clients. Our team brings together the skills of subject matter experts and customer success managers to provide strategic guidance to private equity account leaders and sales professionals. Our aim is to be trusted advisors and preferred service providers for our clients by strengthening and expanding relationships with top executives, board members, and key decision-makers.Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a private equity Associate, you will support our team's goals through a variety of projects and workstreams, including:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the PE team to develop strategic plans for client accounts.
  • Relationship Mapping: Maintain relationship maps of private equity funds and portfolio companies to help account leaders build relationships at all levels.
  • CRM Management: Use Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) and Power BI dashboards for data maintenance, engagement tracking, and analysis.
  • Research and Intelligence: Create research reports and dossiers to provide relevant market intelligence to account teams.
  • Institutional Knowledge: Learn about Grant Thorntons services and integrate this knowledge into your data analysis.
Key Duties
  • CRM Utilization: Manage data and lists using Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).
  • Research Proficiency: Gather information on private equity funds and portfolio companies using databases like PitchBook, Capital IQ, and online resources.
  • Data Management: Manage large data sets, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyze data to find insights and detect irregularities.
  • Documentation: Keep thorough records, track changes, and summarize ideas effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate well with excellent speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive Engagement: Execute tasks efficiently and seek help from senior team members when needed.
  • Project Management: Manage projects and processes, prioritize tasks, and take ownership while asking for help when necessary.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Client Service: Deliver high-quality service and interact well with stakeholders, working efficiently under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Continuous Learning: Seek opportunities to learn from team members and experts. Show a desire to improve skills and understand the business and services provided by the firm.
Qualifications and Requirements\xc2\xb7 Educational Background: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.\xc2\xb7 Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or professional services firms.\xc2\xb7 Communication Skills: Excellent command of English with strong grammar, sentence structure, editing, and proofreading skills.\xc2\xb7 Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications, with expertise in Excel and knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools.\xc2\xb7 Research Skills: Proficiency in research methodologies, data collection, and analysis.About Company:Grant Thornton INDUS comprises GT U.S. Shared Services Center India Pvt Ltd and Grant Thornton U.S. Knowledge and Capability Center India Pvt Ltd.
