Experience- 5-7 years Location- Mumbai, Pune, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai JD- Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Defines, designs, and implements network communications and solutions. Proposes and implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Manages load configuration of central data communication processor and makes recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks. Coordinates terminal orders and cable installation, network system planning, installing, monitoring, testing, and servicing. Approves action requests and specifies purchase requirement. Negotiates and places orders with common carriers. May train other employees on system. Provides technical analysis in data network planning, engineering, and design. Provides analysis for implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to network problems. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Coordinates third-party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoots problems with department users and department network administrators. May develop uniform operation procedures. Provides operational support for the organization\'s Local Area Networks (LANs); Wide Area Networks (WANs); and Metro Area Networks (MANs). Monitors LAN, WAN, and MAN performance, maintains security to ensure that procedures are implemented and enforced, and troubleshoots problems. Evaluates and recommends hardware, software and telecommunication equipment that meet users\' needs.
