We are looking for an experienced team member to join our team in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, preferably in electronics manufacturing, and a proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assess and qualify new suppliers through thorough evaluation of their quality management systems and capabilities.
Conduct supplier audits and on-site assessments to ensure compliance with Railway industry standards, Customer and Frauscher specific requirements.
Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, delivery performance, and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a supplier scorecard and provide regular performance feedback to suppliers.
Develop and implement incoming inspection processes to verify the quality of supplied materials and components.
Ensure supplied products meet all quality specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues, including non-conformances, defects, and customer complaints.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and improvement actions (CIA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Identify and implement quality and process improvements within the supply chain vide Kaizen, Poka Yoke, Continual Improvement Programmes .
Work with suppliers to implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to align on quality expectations and requirements.
Communicate quality issues and improvement plans to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of supplier quality performance, audits, and corrective actions.
Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Ensure suppliers comply with relevant industry standards such as ISO 9001, IPC standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., RoHS).
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Quality Management, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CQA, Six Sigma) are a plus.
5-6 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in electronics manufacturing
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards (ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, etc.)
Experience with supplier auditing and qualification processes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar certification is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
