The Opportunity Flash FW team in Pune is focused on developing bleeding edge storage products with focus on datacenter. The storage test engineering (STE) team based in Pune is part of larger Flash FW team focused on developing Simulators, Tools and Firmware Validation. The Flash Firmware team is growing its presence in Pune with a charter to develop and own full product firmware development and validation. Job Responsibilities: Responsibility: Work with ASIC, FW & test engineers to understand their requirements and document them. Architect, design & develop tools for upcoming Marvell products. Provide technical documentation and conduct training/demo sessions to share information with Firmware & Test engineers and customers. Conduct design and code reviews. Mentor & groom junior members in the team. Work with global peers and stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields, and at least 12 years of related professional experience. Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with at least 10 years of experience. At least 7 years of excellent coding experience in C++ & Python. Preferred Qualifications: Working experience of Pybind, Simics, SSDs, NVMe. Tools development experience for storage products. Linux device driver development experience. Good understanding of CPU architecture, firmware development process for SOCs. Requirements: Marvell STE Tools team develop multiple SOC tools to help firmware development and validation. These tools help test teams to validate complete functionality offirmware by creating various scenarios covering corner cases and inject errors etc besides benchmarking the performance. As a Principal tools engineer, you will architect, design, and oversee the development of such tools. You will be working closely with ASIC, firmware and test design and development engineers to gather requirements, derive roadmaps and drive them to completion.
