Job Title Principal Power Systems Design EngineerJob Division Power ProductsJob Code : TIT 7RESPONSIBILITYSOFT SKILLS1 - Job environment\xc2\xa7 The role of the Principal power system design engineer is to bring innovation and thought leadership to End Users and our Channel partners - Design Consultants, Panel Builders and Contractors for Segment applications.\xc2\xa7 In close collaboration with the Project leader and Segment leaders, the technical leader will :o Engage high level discussions with Customers/Partners to capture expressed and unexpressed requirements.o Convert those requirements in power systems architectures magnifying Schneider Electric catalogue strengths.\xc2\xa7 Support our customer with high level expertise in power systems, protection plan (HV/MV/LV), power automation and monitoring.\xc2\xa7 Provide technical material and segment inputs to EcoStruxure power solutions.2 - Application knowledge\'s\xc2\xa7 Possess good knowledge on the process associated with Heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining / Metals Industries, and ability to lead technical discussions directly with Customers to capture actual application needs.\xc2\xa7 Understand Customer\'s key performance indicators, constraints, operation, roles & responsibility in their respective industrial applications.\xc2\xa7 Knowledgeable about Green initiatives in the market, such as Green H2.\xc2\xa7 Must have High, Medium and Low Voltage system design and execution knowledge for Heavy industrial applications such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining / Metals Industries.\xc2\xa7 Carry out preliminary engineering design in accordance with local codes or relevant international design codes.3 - Power systems expertise\xc2\xa7 Contribute to the definition of optimized and competitive HV/MV/LV power systems architecture based on Schneider Electric catalogue.\xc2\xa7 Build appropriate reference architectures, technical materials and documentations to promote Schneider Electric solutions emphasizing on differentiation and customer benefits.\xc2\xa7 Knowledge in power systems engineering (network simulation, protection, power electronics conversion (UPS/DC Charger), power quality, reliability)\xc2\xa7 Ability to Value Engineer the customer solutions with the focus on overall Electrical Architecture.\xc2\xa7 Very good knowledge of Schneider Electric offers (MV/LV Equipment, UPS, monitoring & control, relays)4 - Training deployment\xc2\xa7 In close collaboration with the project leader and the segment leader contribute to the definition of training plan\xc2\xa7 Conduct F2F or Webinar Training session and lead Technical topics.5 - Business support\xc2\xa7 Upon request from segment, organize and deliver technical support to sales and execution teams.\xc2\xa7 Ability to engage customers at C-Level\xc2\xa7 Influencing and convincing\xc2\xa7 Able to work in multi-BUs, multi-stakeholders\' environment.\xc2\xa7 Vey collaborative and flexible\xc2\xa7 Open to discussion and opposite positionsEXPOSUREELECTRA\xc2\xa7 Project leader\xc2\xa7 ExpertsBUs\xc2\xa7 Offer managers\xc2\xa7 Technical leadersBUSINESS\xc2\xa7 Strategic executive\xc2\xa7 Execution center\xc2\xa7 Sales forcesCUSTOMERS\xc2\xa7 Strategic account experts and decisions makersEXPERIENCEEDUCATION\xc2\xa7 10+ years\' experience in Electrical Power System design engineering studies with a strong consulting background\xc2\xa7 Experience in leading Electrical design for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining / Metals Industries will be an advantage\xc2\xa7 Experience in Green initiatives in the market, especially on Green Hydrogen is a major advantage.\xc2\xa7 Good exposure to Power System studies software such as ETAP.\xc2\xa7 Familiar with project business model and exposure to working with Channel partners (Design Consultants, Panel Builder and Contractors)\xc2\xa7 Familiar with direct engagement with customers\xc2\xa7 Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering\xc2\xa7 Master\'s degree in Power Systems engineering is a plusQualifications\xc2\xa7 10+ years\' experience in Electrical Power System design engineering studies with a strong consulting background\xc2\xa7 Experience in leading roles for design of commercial, industrial and healthcare projects will be an advantage\xc2\xa7 Good exposure in Power System studies software.\xc2\xa7 Familiar with project business model and exposure to working with Channel partners (Specifier, Panel Builder and Contractors)\xc2\xa7 Very good knowledge of Schneider Electric offers\xc2\xa7 Familiar with direct engagement with customers\xc2\xa7 Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering\xc2\xa7 Master\'s degree in electrical engineering is a plus`Schedule: Full-time
