Role Description


We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer to take a leading role in designing, developing, and maintaining our blockchain solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with blockchain technologies, a strong technical background, and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers. You will be responsible for creating scalable blockchain systems, developing smart contracts, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.





• Blockchain Development: Design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications and solutions. Implement and optimize smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and blockchain protocols.
• Architecture and Design: Architect scalable and secure blockchain solutions, including consensus mechanisms, smart contract structures, and network protocols. Define technical standards and best practices for blockchain development.
• Project Leadership: Lead blockchain development projects from inception through deployment. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers. Share expertise on blockchain best practices, review code, and help resolve technical challenges.
• Technical Innovation: Stay current with the latest developments in blockchain technology. Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to incorporate into projects and improve existing systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of blockchain solutions. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for blockchain projects, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and user guides.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for blockchain solutions. Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure that solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Core/Must have skills


[12+] years of experience in software development, with at least [3-5] years specifically focused on blockchain technologies. Proven track record of successful blockchain projects and solutions.


Blockchain Platforms: Expertise in blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Polkadot, or Solana.


Smart Contracts: Advanced experience with smart contract development using languages like Solidity, Vyper, or Rust.


Consensus Mechanisms: Strong understanding of consensus algorithms including Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, and Delegated Proof of Stake.


Development Tools: Proficiency with blockchain development tools and frameworks such as Truffle, Hardhat, Remix, or Ganache.


Programming Languages: Advanced skills in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, Go, C++, or Java.


Cryptography: In-depth knowledge of cryptographic principles used in blockchain technologies, such as hashing algorithms, public/private key pairs, and digital signatures.


Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.


Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.


Good to have skills


Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Blockchain Expert, Certified Blockchain Developer, or similar are advantageous.


Additional Experience: Experience with layer 2 scaling solutions, cross-chain interoperability, or enterprise blockchain applications.
