\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot and test (including automation) IPS and Gateway AV engines on firmware.
\xc2\xb7 Research new ways to improve Deep Packet Inspection engine.
\xc2\xb7 Setup malware analysis environment for specific threats affecting Windows, Mac OSX, Mobile OS platforms in a lab environment.
\xc2\xb7 Reverse engineer and analyze new malware threats.
\xc2\xb7 Publish analysis blogs on SonicWall\'s security center.
\xc2\xb7 Develop tools to automate malware analysis tasks, simulation software and administer lab environment to replicate attacks.Desired Skills & ExperienceSkills & Experience:
\xc2\xb7 Expert knowledge of Internet security issues, including malware, exploits and shell code.
\xc2\xb7 Expert understanding of Windows file structure and packer formats.
\xc2\xb7 Expertise in virtualization concepts and platforms (VirtualBox, VMWare)
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with an IDS/IPS, Gateway AV a plus.
\xc2\xb7 Reverse engineering tools (Ollydbg, IDA Pro, SoftIce, or equivalents)
\xc2\xb7 Programming experience in Perl, C, C++, PHP.
\xc2\xb7 Proficiency with relational database and SQL programming like PostgreSQL.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with Botnet C&C protocols, Behavioral and Static Analysis of Malware.Requirements:
\xc2\xb7 B.S. or M.S. (preferred) Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 12+ years of experience in the field of malware analysis and/or vulnerability research
\xc2\xb7 Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, deadline-driven environment
