We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Principal. The Principal will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and operation of the JKKN Dental College and Hospital, contributing to the seamless flow of resources that support our educational initiatives. This role requires a dedicated individual who can uphold our vision and mission through effective academic and administrative qualities.





Job Responsibilities



Strategic Leadership - Align the academic and administrative functions and implement innovative strategies.


Curricular Oversight - Develop, Revise and implement the curriculum in line with the latest advancement in dentistry and higher education.


Faculty Development - to mentor and guide faculty in pedagogic and research excellence


Resource Allocation - Effectively manage the budget, resources, and infrastructure


Global Partnership - Integrate global perspectives. Cultivate and initiate collaborations with international institutions.


Compliance and accreditation Extensive knowledge of academic accreditation and compliance procedures


Community Engagement - Serve as the face of the institution to the broader community and establish it as a hub for innovative solutions in dental healthcare.


Student Welfare - Provide an overall safe environment for students to explore opportunities for their overall development.


Advisory - Serve as the chief academic advisor to the Board of Directors and Academic Council, making evidence-based recommendations for institutional improvement.


Innovation Management - Introduce initiatives aimed at technological advancement, curriculum innovation and uptrend educational practices.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) & Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)


Master's Degree in Dental Specialization such as Orthondotics, Periodontics etc.,


Ph.D. in Dental Sciences or related field (preferred but not mandatory)





Clinical Experience

Years of Practice: 10 years in Clinical Dentistry


Research Publications - A portfolio of research endeavours, particularly those published in peer-reviewed journals


Accreditations & Certifications - Additional credentials if any.
