If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!Responsibilities:As a Principal Group Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for an engineering group, 30+ engineers in total, consisting of multiple teams in various locations. It is an unique role leading globally Microsoft investments in the agriculture industry. You will have technical leadership responsibilities, coaching and applying continuous improvements in your teams capabilities for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners using cutting edge technologies in the new era of AI . You will work closely with architects, product managers and designers to deliver end-to-end experiences that are scalable, reliable, and secure. You will also collaborate with other teams across Microsoft to leverage the best of Microsofts cloud technologies and platforms.Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 15+ years of professional software development experience using C#, Java, Python, or other programming languages
• 10+ years of experience of designing and operating cloud services at global scale
• 10+ years of experience of people management
• Experience with web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or other web frameworks
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and customer focus skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer focus skills
• Passion for learning new technologies and delivering customer value

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the latest AI technologies and services such as Azure OpenAI
• Experience with platforms such as Fabric, Synapse, Power BI or Power Platform
• Experience with cloud development using Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms
• Experience with data engineering using SQL, NoSQL, Spark, Hadoop, or other data technologies
• Experience with DevOps practices using Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other tools
